PENTSOS Supports Students with Modern Boarding Facility

Pentecost Social Services (PENTSOS), the development arm of The Church of Pentecost, in collaboration with the church, has successfully constructed an ultra-modern boarding facility for the Pentecost Preparatory School (PPS), Koforidua.
This facility plays a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for students, particularly those whose parents live and work in areas with limited access to quality education or whose family support systems are not readily available. By offering residential accommodation, the facility ensures that these children can pursue their education without disruption, while also benefiting from holistic care, supervision, and opportunities for personal growth.
The building’s design prioritizes functionality, safety, and comfort, featuring a spacious entrance, a well-equipped library, an entertainment room, and a rooftop area designated for supervised recreation and future solar panel installation. The facility includes 280-bed capacity with ancillary amenities, a prayer room, a space for entertainment, as well as two 2-bedroom apartments to accommodate the housemaster and housemistress.
This initiative is a clear reflection of PENTSOS’ ongoing commitment to quality educational development, child welfare, and community empowerment, ensuring that students not only receive academic instruction but also grow in a well-rounded and supportive environment.
In all PENTSOS manages 108 schools with other 41000 students enrolled and over 2500 staffs employed.
